Ground: Newforge Lane, Belfast, BT 9 5NW Tel; 02890681027 Dear Colleague Since the formation of the R.U.C. in 1922 football has played an important part in the development of sport within the Police service. Subsequent to its formation in 1956 the club has won numerous trophies and played a key part in the Development of Newforge as a member’s organization.. In 1975 the club was accepted into the Irish League and now plays in Division Two of the Championship. Unlike many other clubs at this level we do not have a regular paying support and are therefore heavily dependent on our own fundraising efforts in order to cover the huge costs involved in maintaining a club at this level e.g. match Officials cost on average £3000 per season. Central to our fund raising efforts to ensure that the club survives is our current membership scheme at £3 per month (deductable from salary or by bank mandate.) This will admit you to all our home games without charge and give you full membership of the club. Please decide to support the club and keep its future secure.
